A walk towards the village Senasanaya will lead your footsteps along a historical path "parangiya kotte giya para"- during the Kotte period of Sri Lanka's history. This is the path known as how the Portuguese who were occupying the Maritime Provinces were sent on a`wild goose chase' by the villagers. A half a kilometer walk will take you to the Senasanaya temple where on prior request you can arrange a mind healing meditation session early in the morning. Even the rustling of the Bo leaves and the chirping of birds will gently blend into your reverie and not disturb you! -

Turn right at main junction at Meepe to Ingiriya road on the Colombo Avissawella (High level road). After 7 km turn left at Ihala Bope junction towards Udugama. Within l2 minutes you will find Serenity Village in an enviable location surrounded by mist covered hills and sparkling fresh water springs at Wevila, Kalatuwawa.
